Who is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed during a Sprint?

The Development Team is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed during a Sprint as part of their commitment to delivering a potentially releasable increment of product by the end of each Sprint. They are a self-organizing group that collectively decides how to best accomplish the work set out in the Sprint Backlog.
